Okay all you liberals out there, this video is NOT about entitlement or redistribution of wealth. If you think it is, you have to look at the subtle nuances a little more closely. What we have here are normal working folks – neighbors, taking care of one another. Think small-town and Love Your Neighbor as Yourself. This is very small-town, not big government.
The differences are very slight, but very important. There is no Government agency MAKING the vanishing guitar player give his hard-earned money to the poor working girl. He’s doing it out of kindness and a desire to help out his neighbors, NOT because the government mandates it. If you think about it, that really is kind of the difference between the Tea Party platform and the Obama platform, isn’t it?
(Lyrics)
Whatever I try to do just dont pay
A dollar aint worth a dime these days
Workin six long days in a seven day week
But Lord, I still aint free
If money talks, it aint sayin much to me
Too much month at the end of the money
J.O.B. means Just Over Broke
Livin 9 to 5 in another mans shoes
Is how it seems to be
If money talks, it aint sayin much to me
Cuz if money talks, it aint had much to say to me
Cept for adios, auf wiedersehen, goodbye
This working mans still in prison
And the banker holds the key
If money talks, it aint on speakin terms with me
SOLO
I got no rungs on a corporate ladder
This dead-end job is slowly killin me
It seems that what I am is what I am
And all Ill ever be
If money talks, it aint sayin much to me
Cuz if money talks, it aint had much to say to me
Cept for adios, auf wiedersehen, see ya round
This working mans still in prison
And the banker holds the key
If money talks, it aint on speakin terms with me
If money talks, it aint on speakin terms with me
