Mo Williams Visits The Heat

July 8, 2007

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Mo Williams visited with the Miami Heat, toured their facility, and had dinner with Pat Riley on Saturday. The Heat are in need of a point guard and they are trying to convince Mo Williams to take less money and play for them. The most the Heat could offer him is $6 million per year while the Bucks are said to be offering around $8 million a year.

It would be a huge loss for the Bucks if Williams were to leave because they do not have another experienced point guard on the roster. It would be a good addition for the Heat because they could lessen Wade’s ball handling responsibilities and add a more consistent PG.
