Melo Out 15 Games, May Not Make All-Star Team Now

Suspensions have been handed down and they are a bit harsh if you ask me. In the Detroit brawl I think Jermaine O’Neal got about a 30 to 35 game suspension for fighting with fans. This was a fight between players and these guys got half and 1/3 of what O’Neal got. You can also look at the Ray Allen/Keyon Dooling fight last season, Ray got a 5 game suspension and Keyon got a 3 game suspension. Me I think the most games handed out should have been about 7 or 8.

Now lets talk about Melo, this guy is going to miss a load of games so it will hurt his team a lot because he is their best player and averages 31.7 per game. It also hurts him in two other ways he looks bad because he hit Collins and ran. That makes him look like a punk and I know he is embarassed. Another thing is that the west is so stacked with forwards, coach won’t vote him in now. If you have to vote for a guy that plays every game versus a guy that missed 15 you are going to go with the guy that plays. I also have to mention that it is possible for the Nuggets to be under .500 once the coaches get ready to vote the bench players in. When voting coaches seem to go with the guys on winning teams.
