Marbury’s New Kicks

I have heard a lot about Stephon Marbury’s new sneakers the last few weeks and it is good that a player is stepping back to endorse a cheaper line of shoes. Although I am curious to see how the shoes will hold up in a game. Marbury said he will wear them next season so I guess we will see.

Marbury is trying to rebuild his image which has been going downhill since he left Minnesota. Because of that Marbury has been with several of the top shoe companies and now that they don’t want him he is accepting what he can get. I don’t really think it is about him helping kids in the hood out by giving them a cheaper alternative but as long as he is happy and the parents that buy the shoes are happy, then so am I.
