Jay Williams Signs With The Nets

Jay Williams has sign with the New Jersey Nets. The contract he has sign is not guaranteed so he really has to play well to stick with the team. Since the Nets have Marcus Williams their will be a load of competition between those two for minutes.

Jay Williams has stated that he respect Marcus Williams and thinks he will be an all star one day but he is going to fight him as has a possible for minutes. Since the Nets are not really deep at the guard position I see them both getting a lot of minutes. Kidd is getting older and I am sure they will try to keep him fresh for the playoffs.

Hopefully he can play well and stick with the team. They can’t just rely on the big three Kidd, Carter, and RJ to get it done this season so he looks like a good fit.
