Celtics Win In Blowout
June 18, 2008
The Celtics blewout the Lakers to win the 2008 NBA Finals. The game was close in the first quarter but you could see signs of trouble coming for the Lakers because they were turning the ball over and giving up offensive rebounds. The Lakers went on a second quarter drought and were outscored by 19 in the second and it was pretty much over.
The Lakers played horrible defense, got outrebounded by 19, and didn’t take care of the ball. Once again Lamar and Gasol didn’t contribute much and Kobe didn’t do much either outside of the first quarter.
Paul Pierce won MVP for the Celtics.
