D Wade Is Having A Great Season, See His Sick Dunk On Okafor
December 9, 2008
Remember a few years ago when a guy named Kobe Bryant torn up the NBA scoring 9 straight 40 plus point games, scoring 81 in one game, and averaging 35.4 points per game for the season, well look for D Wade to get his money just like Kobe did when the Lakers stunk because the Heat stink but Wade won’t let them lose.
He is already leading the league in scoring and has had several games over 35 points. His team is 12 and 9 in a improved Eastern conference with an undersized frontcourt, a rookie pg, a rookie coach, an overpaid Shawn Marion, and a number 2 pick that doesn’t even start games any more.
If you are a fan of the game that loves to see players go out and get 40 or 50 plus each night with highlight reel play then you better keep you eye on the Miami Heat games because as long a Wade is healthy he can explode on any night.
Oh yeah, check out his sick dunk last night on Okafor even the Bobcats Bench had to brace for it.
Miami Heat 2008-2009 Season Preview
October 16, 2008
The Miami Heat sucked last year but this year will be different because Dwayne Wade is healthy and ready to play. He reminded everyone he was one of the best players in the game with his play during the Olympics. Along with Wade the Heat have Shawn Marion and Mike Beasley to help him out. Other solid players include James Jones, Udonis Haslem, Mark Blount, and Chris Quinn. That may not seem like much but it is a lot in the East. Plus if Lebron can carry his scrubby team to the playoffs each year than I am sure that Wade can.
As far as playoff positioning I think that the Heat will be looking at a 7 or 8 seed with their main competition for those spots being Indiana and Washington.
Expect Beasley to play a big role with the Heat this year. He and Wade have had good chemistry on those offensive end in the playoffs. Also expect Marion to be gone. I am not sure who he will be traded for but I am sure he will be moved. He has an expiring contract that other teams would love to have.

Heat Fans No Longer Showing Up To Games
March 14, 2008
The last few years the Miami Heat arena has been packed with fans dressed in white t-shirts cheering on their team. Now that the Heat suck you see just as many empty seats as you see fans. Now that Shaq is gone and Wade is done for the season fans are waiting until the NBA draft to worry about the Heat. It is kind of surprising, I would think that fans would show up no matter what but I guess it is too warm out in Miami to waste time watching a team lose.
As bad as the Heat are they have a lot of money coming off the cap and possibly a top 3 draft pick. A healthy Wade, a draft pick like Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley, and a free agent like Elton Brand can get people back into the stands next season.
Miami Trading Shaq For Marion?
February 6, 2008
The Miami Heat are trying to dump Shaq off on the Phoenix Suns, and the Suns seem eager to take him. Their is a deal on the table that would send Shaq to the Suns in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks. Some people are in favor of this trade while other are wondering what the Suns are thinking.
Word is the Suns want a defensive presence and a player in the middle that they can go to when the game slows down or when they matchup against big teams like the Nuggets, Spurs, and Lakers. They also think they would benefit greatly from putting Amare at the PF position.
The biggest reason people are dumping on this trade is because the Suns have won a ton of games with Nash, Marion, and Stoudemire, so why break it up? Also they are a running team and getting Shaq may cramp their style.
I think the trade is going to hurt them. My thought is that they are trying to get their own twin towers in Phoenix to offset the Lakers twin towers. It looks like a panic trade and if it doesn’t work out fans in Phoenix will be pissed and the Suns championship chances will be over.
This trade has been agreed to but it won’t be finalized unless Shaq passes a physical.
The Heat End Their 15 Game Losing Streak
January 26, 2008
The Heat was able to end their 15 game losing streak by beating the Indiana Pacers by 2 points at home. D. Wade had 35 points and made a key defensive play at the end of the game which prevented Indiana from getting off a good shot. The players were happy to win a game for the first time since December 22nd but they still have a 9-33 record.
Even though the Heat suck, they are only about 9 games out of the 8th spot in the Eastern conference. They still have a good chance to make the playoffs if they can go on a little winning streak.
The Heat Suck
December 8, 2007
The Miami Heat are going downhill fast they cannot get anything going. Everyone thought that the trade with Minnesota and D Wade coming back was going to take this team to top 5 in the East but it does not look like that is going to happen. A lot of guy in Miami are unhappy especially Shaq who has been complaining about not getting the ball. Pat Riley is worried if he made some mistakes with letting Posey and Kapono walk and making the Walker trade.
People are expecting the Heat to make another desperation trade very soon, possible for a point guard. If they are looking to do something big they better do it soon because they need help now. If they wait until February it will be too late.
Smush On The Block
December 5, 2007
The Heat will be looking to dump Smush Parker as soon as he is eligible on December 15th. He has had problems fitting in with the team and he has had an off the court incident that forced the team to basically tell him to stay home. Smush has said himself that Riley is very demanding and yells a lot, two things he was not expecting when he signed with the Heat this Summer.
Heat and Wolves Make A Deal
October 24, 2007
The Heat traded Antoine Walker, Wayne Simien, Michael Doleac, and a first round pick for Mark Blount and Ricky Davis. The Wolves were looking to get rid of some players they felt would be bad influences on their young team. They were reluctant to take Walker but he has two years left on his deal while Blount had three.
For the Wolves this is a weird deal because Ricky Davis was in the last year of his deal of $6.8 million. Instead of taking that off the books at the end of next year they will only take off $4 million because Doleac and Simien ar in the last years of their deals.
The Heat at an underated player that can score in Davis. He can take some of the load off of Shaq and Wade as a very good third option. Blount will be a good frontcourt backup to Haslem.
