How did the nba draft work during the years of the vietnam war?

Back in the years of the Vietnam War, The Selective Service Act forced all males from ages 18-26 to sign up for the draft…

Question: College graduates could be drafted. were guys entering the NBA Draft free from getting drafted to the military or was there a chance they could be drafted?
yeah but back in the 60’s most of the players entering the nba draft were college graduates making them not immuned to the military draft

i think if ur in college you dont get drafted to war.
**edit

then im stumped. maybe they picked people out of high school? or people playing streetball? something.

Does anyone know who invented the Aerial Hoop or Lyra?

I have searched EVERYWHERE online and cannot seem to find the history of this circus art. I have found tons of performance videos on Youtube, but no resources that talk about the invention of the apparatus. Any Circus Historians out there know where the aerial hoop came from?

I take lessons for it and was told it’s a Cirque du Soleil invention.

Who in the history of the NBA directly caused the most injuries on opposing players?

How many injuries did he cause this season? His career?

Should he be named dirtiest player ever?

stockton just slapped and held jerseys not really injuries

Malone would Elbow a lot of people as would Shawn Bradley

Bill cartwright liked to elbow people in the head which led to Isiah Thomas throwing him to the ground and wailing on him

McHale would tackle guys

Don’t hink you can name anyone dirtiest player ever based on injuries as some players are tougher than others and don’t let on they are injured and who knows way back in the day?
