Renaldo Balkman Bangs On Devin Harris
March 31, 2007
This is from last nights game. It actually should have been a charge but it was still a good play.
Greg Oden, Overrated?
March 30, 2007
I have heard people talking about Gred Oden for the last few years before he even go to college and now that I have seen him play I think he is a good player. He does everything he is supposed to do as a seven footer. He rebounds, hits easy shots in the paint, and he blocks shots.
My question is aren’t all centers supposed to do that? Yes they are. So basically he is getting a lot of love from the press for doing something he is supposed to, that a lot of seven footers in college and the NBA don’t do. He deserves respect for doing what a lot of tall people over the years haven’t been able to but not as much as he is getting.
Lebron Can I Come Over
March 28, 2007
It came out yesterday that Lebron James is building a 35,000 square foot house with a barber shop, casino, bowling alley, a theater, and a two story walk in closet. His master suite which includes the walk in closet is projected to be 40 feet wide by 56 feet long.
The article about the home was posted on espn.com and drew some negative comments about him showing off, about it being a waste of money, about how he should be helping others. Most looked like jealous comments to me because if I had the money to get a house that big, I would, and those other people would too.
Check out the comments and you will see what I am talking about.

The Final Four Is Set
March 25, 2007
After a load of college games over the last two weeks the Final Four is set. The Final Four matchups will be Georgetown vs. Ohio State and Florida vs. UCLA. The Georgetown/Ohio State game will be a great one to watch because Greg Oden gets a chance to pick on someone his own size. Seeing him play against Roy Hibbert will be treat for all basketball fans.
I was correct on 3 of my Final Four picks. I hope that things can turn out how I predicted with Georgetown winning it over Florida. That would be a couple more great matchups with Hibert vs. Noah and Jeff Green vs. Corey Brewer.

Jeff Green Travels To A Game Winner, NC Comes Back, Kobe Gets 50, Again
March 24, 2007
The Georgetown Hoyas rode Jeff Greens happy feet into the Elite Eight yesterday as he hit a wild game winner over two defenders with 2.5 seconds left to put the Hoyas up 66-65. The play was crazy from the beginning as the Hoyas took their time bring the ball up and getting into the play, then Jeff Green fumbled the ball, it look like the game was about to be over but he decided to change pivot foots and throw it up on the glass and it went in. I am happy for the Hoyas but Vanderbilt players should not be able to sleep for a week losing a game like that. The video of the shot is below.
I didn’t watch much of any of the gamesexcep the last minutes of each one and the North Carolina game was hard to watch. USC hit a long jumper to go up 59-47 and then it all went downhill for them. NC started forcing turnover, getting put backs, getting to the line, throwing down thunderous dunks, it was a quick hard turnaround. USC did not score for a longtime and ended up losing. I would have loved to see USC get by because they would be easier for Georgetown to beat than NC but it didn’t turn out that way.
Once again last night Kobe went off for 50 points against the Hornets. It was his fourth straight game of 50 or more, only Wilt Chamberlin has had more with 7 straight games back in the 60s. The best part about the 4 games is that the Lakers have won all 4 of them. Their next 3 games are against the Warriors, Grizzlies, and Rockets. I hope he keeps the streak going because if he takes the streak into a game against T-Mac then T-Mac will try to go right back at him. You could end up seeing both of those guys drop 50 plus when they play.
Kobe 65, 50, and Last Night 60
March 23, 2007
Kobe blew up for 60 points on the Grizzles last night. He is the fourth player in NBA history to score over 50 points in 3 straight games. Checkout the highlights.
My Final Four Picks Still Alive
March 22, 2007
The NCAA tournament games start back up tonight and all of my final four picks are still alive, so I am happy. I have Florida and Kansas playing each other and Georgetown and Ohio State playing with Georgetown meeting, and beating Florida in the championship game.
My bracket isn’t looking too bad. I made a few mistakes but not many big ones. Wisconsin got put out a round earlier than I thought, Duke got put out a round earlier than I thought. Texas and Louisville got put out two rounds earlier than I thought but those were probably the biggest mistakes.

Charlie Villanueva And Andrew Bogut Out For The Season
March 21, 2007
The Bucks have had bunch of injury problems this season and the still are not going away. Two of their best big men Charlie Villanueva and Andrew Bogut will be out for the rest of the season with injuries. Those are not the only Bucks players out. Watching the Bucks game today and seeing the all the guys on the bench with suits had me thinking I was watching a funeral. Dan Gadzuric, Earl Boykins, and Bobby Simmions all had their church clothes on as well.
Even with the injuries, a new coach, and a few recent wins is giving Bucks fans hope. In tonights game they were down by as much as 22 points but came back to lead in the fourth but they ended up losing by a point. Even with the large deficit fans where behind the Bucks and were on their feet for the last few minutes of the game cheering.
